The partnership combines The Doctors Clinic Group’s expertise in Primary and Secondary care with Medbelle’s digital and patient-centred approach
A new partnership between Medbelle and The Doctors Clinic Group offers patients around the country an alternative to long waiting times with fast access to specialist orthopaedic care and a network of private consultants.
At a time when patient demand is outstripping NHS capacity, patients are often in pain or discomfort for extended periods, and more people are turning to private care. However, this can be a daunting and confusing process for patients who do not know how to navigate the system or find guidance.
This partnership combines The Doctors Clinic Group’s expertise in Primary and Secondary care with Medbelle’s digital approach and personal Patient Care Advisers, giving patients access to the highest quality care in a way that is timely and easy to navigate.
Medbelle uses technology and a patient-centred approach to join up the often fragmented private healthcare system, giving patients individual support, taking care of logistics, and digitalising the administration of the entire healthcare journey. This approach allows patients to focus on their recovery, while their personal Patient Care Adviser takes care of everything else, and answers their questions.
The Doctors Clinic Group, which has clinics across London, the Southeast, Manchester and Birmingham as well as offering appointments from anywhere in the world via video, will refer patients to Medbelle for conditions such as hip and knee pain, back and shoulder pain, mobility issues and arthritis. Medbelle has consultants located across the country and their Patient Care Advisers are accessible via app and phone. Patients are provided with information and support enabling them to choose the best care for them, whether that is surgical or non-surgical.

In conjunction with The Doctors Clinic Group, they will use this to ensure patients receive fast access to high-quality care that delivers an improved patient experience. Patients can get a rapid referral to a specialist orthopaedic consultant by booking a GP appointment.
