Henry D. Atkinson is a highly-experienced Consultant Lower Limb Surgeon with Fellowship training in Joint Reconstruction and Replacement, Sports Injury Surgery, Knee, Hip, and Foot and Ankle Surgery. His NHS practice is based at London’s North Middlesex University Hospital, in partnership with the Royal Free Hospital. Henry also provides Orthopaedic Services in association with London Sports Orthopaedics (LSO) at London Bridge Hospital, Highgate Hospital, Hendon Hospital, Kings Oak/Cavell Hospitals and Lyca Health. Henry contributes to Medicolegal reporting and is a Director of Think Medicolegal Ltd. He is also a Founder and Director of several Healthcare Start-ups. He holds a strategic role within the North Central London ICS, and is the Clinical Chair at the Kings Oak and Cavell Hospitals. He was awarded an NHS Clinical Excellence Award in both 2012 and 2018, and was listed in the Tatler Best Doctors Guide 2013, as one of Britain’s top 250 Doctors. He also achieved the “I Want Great Care” Certificate of Excellence in 2019, 2020 and 2021. Henry has a keen interest in research and medical education.
